# DayOfTheDeadAI: product facts

DayOfTheDeadAI is a Day of the Dead AI video generator. One clear photo becomes a 10-second vertical 9:16 MP4 for Día de Muertos: a pet walks home along a marigold-petal path, a cat or dog gets Catrina sugar-skull face paint and a marigold crown, or an adult is transformed into Catrina formal attire with painted sugar-skull makeup in front of a candle-lit ofrenda.

DayOfTheDeadAI is an independent third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok, CapCut, or any film or animation studio. Generated videos are AI-made memorial or festive clips from a user photo — they are not real footage and they make no claim about the afterlife. Use only yourself, a consenting adult, or your own pet; photos of minors and public figures are not allowed.

## Key facts

- Brand: DayOfTheDeadAI. Product category: Day of the Dead AI video generator.
- Input: one clear photo, JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. Use at least 90,000 pixels (e.g. 300 by 300). Pet modes need one cat or dog, face and coat clearly visible. The Catrina Makeup mode needs one adult, front-facing, waist-up.
- Three recast modes: Marigold Path — a pet walks home along a candle-lit path of orange marigold petals; Catrina Pet — a cat or dog passes through a glowing ring of marigold petals and emerges with sugar-skull face paint, a marigold-and-rose crown and an embroidered collar; Catrina Makeup — an adult covers their face, golden petals sweep past, and their hands come down to reveal Catrina sugar-skull makeup, a black formal outfit and a top hat trimmed with marigolds.
- Output: 10-second 9:16 MP4, 480p or 720p, silent by default so posters can add their own sound and caption on TikTok or Reels.
- Pricing: $1 buys 100 credits. Each 10-second clip — any mode — uses 340 credits at 480p ($3.40 in credits) or 760 credits at 720p ($7.60).
- One-time packs: $5 for 500 credits, $10 for 1,000, or $20 for 2,000. They cover 1, 2 or 5 clips at 480p, or 0, 1 or 2 at 720p. Unused credits remain.
- Sign-in and payment are required. There is no free trial or free starter balance.
- Processing time varies but usually takes a few minutes per clip. Follow the task status in the studio; download from the same page when it finishes.
- A confirmed failed task returns its charged credits automatically after refund processing.
- The site has no watermarks and no branding on the export. The clip is silent; common TikTok / Reels captions used with this trend include "Este es su primer Día de Muertos", "Ya vienen en camino" and "Te espero en casa".
- Use only yourself, a consenting adult, or your own pet. Photos of minors and public figures are not allowed.
